Defense verdict for Atlanta plastic suregeon
4/30/2021Sam Britt obtained a defense verdict on behalf of his plastic surgeon client in April 2021. The plaintiff alleged that the plastic surgeon failed to obtain her informed consent and performed procedures that she did not request. Sam was able to show that the plaintiff had signed all informed consent documents and agreed to the procedures that were performed. Sam was also able to show that the procedures were appropriately performed within the standard of care. The judge ruled from the bench that the plastic surgeon was entitled to a directed verdict.
